A-Z theme reveal… open the curtains

My sixth year of the A to Z Blogging Challenge and I’m continuing the history theme. This time not stately homes of the wealthy, the enduring gardens of Britain, nor the Medieval structures of cathedrals and castles, this time I’m going for building associated with entertainment.

Draw back the safety curtains, turn up the lights….

I’ll be exploring the history of the prestigious London theatres as well as the small provincial ones and reveal some of the people who helped design these historic buildings. I won’t be delving too much on the performers or acts, instead I’ll focus on how the theatre has evolved, and how they stand the test of time.

Ooh, was a great choice for a theme. Cannot wait to see what you have to tell us. 💖 I love the theatre, but don’t get to go enough, although with the advent of NTLive etc it is so much easier to see wonderful productions.

This is so very different and unique! I don’t think I’ve ever come across anythign like this. I mean, I’ve read other blogs about castles and cathedrals, but never about theatres.
    Can’t wait!
